Closures and Downsizing
Reducing the stress of conducting a layoff or closure is a
key component in supporting employees who are facing
a layoff because of company downsizing or closure.
Our One-Stop staff members are experienced in
providing the necessary support and vital, positive steps
for a successful transition for both the employer and the
employee. Our team conducts company visits to review
and discuss employee- and employer-friendly strategies
for any upcoming layoffs or closures you may face.
We coordinate on-site layoff assistance orientations for
staff facing dislocation. We educate employees on re-employment,
retraining services and filing for
unemployment insurance benefits.
We coordinate on-site group workshops for career
advancement, job search assistance, resume writing and
interviewing skills. We look for available incentives
beyond workforce issues to prevent layoffs or
relocations.
