The Yolo County Workforce Investment Board (YCWIB) has developed this site for its Board members and for the public to access WIB business, agendas, committees, and calendars along with links to our One-Stop Career Center Partners who can assist you in specialized areas related to employment.

Partnering with County government, local public and State agencies, labor unions, community colleges, and Office of Education, this board oversees the One-Stop Career Centers in Yolo County. The WIB is responsible to provide leadership on public policy for adult and youth employment issues, identify labor market needs, and develop effective and innovative responses to those needs.

At the One-Stop Career Centers in Yolo County, employers can coordinate services to screen and test job applicants, arrange training, obtain research, and receive out-placement services to assist them in transitioning skilled individuals to find the right jobs at all skill levels. One-Stop Career Center services provide a variety of resources to help job seekers find work, plan a career, prepare for interviews, and receive training.

The local Workforce Investment Board is composed of influential business leaders who volunteer their time for the community to provide guidance in the creation of a comprehensive workforce development system. Through this site the public, job seekers, and employers can become a part of the workforce development process by contributing their ideas and concerns.
