Serving ALL Yolo County Employers/Businesses
YoloWorks provides businesses with a variety of services to fit their needs. We have employer resources and training programs to help you find the ideal candidate.
Some services include:
  • Application/resume screening - Save time and resources by letting us screen applicants. YoloWorks will screen resumes and refer job seekers who meet job qualifications.
  • Candidate referral source - YoloWorks can refer candidates to you directly that meet your job qualifications. 
  • Employer recruitment events - Are you looking to hire 10 or more new employees? YoloWorks has four locations to host customized recruitments to address your hiring needs.
  • Job announcements - We advertise your position in our four YoloWorks locations, post on our YoloWorks Facebook and LinkedIn page and also have a large Jobs e-blast list where we share job openings with job seekers, Employment Specialists, Job Developers in the Greater Sacramento Region and community partners.
  • On-The-Job Training (OJT) Program- FREE Wage reimbursement for hiring eligible employees and training them for a maximum of six months in a new job.  You get paid to hire and train!
  • Subsidized Employment (SE) Program- FREE Wage reimbursement for hiring eligible employees that reimburses employers up to $49,500 for hiring eligible Yolo County Employment Services participants for up to a year. You get paid to hire and train!
  • Work Experience (WEX) Program- FREE Work assignment program in public, private or non-profit agencies where participants can gauge their interest and suitability for occupations.
  • Career Fairs- Join us in June (Woodland) and October (West Sacramento) to find qualified job seeker through our YoloWorks Career Fairs.
  • Rapid Response Services- Services provided to help growing companies access an available pool of skilled workers from other companies that are downsizing or who have been trained in the skills your company needs to be competitive, and to mitigate the impact of layoffs and plant closings by quickly coordinating services and providing immediate aid to companies and their affected workers. Services provided at no cost.
